Eymard Meneses Cabling

Eymard Meneses Cabling (Potter) was recently seen in the new musical Gold Mountain at the West Valley Performing Arts Center sponsored by the Utah Shakespeare Festival. He has starred in Miss Saigon (The Engineer) in North America and the International Tour of The King and I in Asia; The King and I and Once on This Island at the Olney Theatre Center; The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Mary Poppins, Starlight Express, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Shrek: The Musical, Newsies, and Mamma Mia at the Tuacahn Amphitheatre. Happy holidays to all and especially the one who pushes me around! I love you Veronica! It is truly a “wonderful life” with you.

Rick Macy

Rick Macy

Rick Macy (Gower) spent much of his youth playing baseball in Oregon where he grew up. He entered Brigham Young University with the intent to study journalism. But after one semester, he became bored with those classes and focused on acting, earning a bachelor’s degree in 1982.

In addition to appearing in films produced by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he has had roles in films Outlaw Trail: The Treasure of Butch Cassidy, Return to the Secret Garden, Willy the Sparrow, The Butter Cream Gang in Secret of Treasure Mountain, Little Secrets, and Out of Step. He also appeared in television productions, Divided by Hate; Perfect Murder, Perfect Town; Shot in the Heart; and Touched by an Angel.

He has taught acting lessons for many years. He had a private workshop called The Actor’s Academy for sixteen years and was a part-time instructor at Pioneer High School for the Performing Arts.

He and his wife, Marsha, live in Provo, Utah, and are the parents of three children.

Sam Cardon

Sam Cardon (Music) is an EMMY winning composer whose credits include 9 large-format films: Texas, The Big Picture, Lewis and Clark, The Legendary Journeys, Shakleton’s Antarctic Adventure, Mysteries of Egypt, Olympic Glory, Whales, Building the Dream at Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California, Treasure of the Gods at Zion National Park, Utah and The Secret of San Francisco at Pier 39.

In addition, he has written or co-written such themes as National Geographic Explorer, ABC Sunday Night at the Movies, Good Morning America and provided three hours of original music for the 1988 Winter Olympic Games in Calgary and provided music for Closing Ceremonies at the Salt Lake City Olympic Winter Games.

Doug Ellis

Doug Ellis

Doug Ellis (Set Design) The set design talents of Mr. Ellis are used in Film, Television, Theatre, Opera, Ballet, Musicals, and Corporate Trade Shows. He spent twelve years in Manhattan in schooling and Art Directing feature films and episodic television shows, including four years as the Art Director for Spin City, starring Michael J. Fox. He has been the Art Director for the Stadium of Fire in Provo, Utah and as the Set Designer of Disney’s High School Musical 3. Stage designs include: King Lear, The Philadelphia Story, Big River, Much Ado About Nothing, The Secret Garden, and Stadium of Fire; Dance: The Snow Queen, Goldie Lock’s Adventures, and It’s a Wonderful Life; Opera: Abinadi, which was filmed for BYU-TV. Film and Television designs include The RM, The Home Teachers, Out of Step, BYU’s The Writer’s Block dramatic TV series, Howdy Town, Signing Time, Christmas with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Hancock County, The Life and Loves of Emmeline B. Wells, and Veronica Mars. Mr. Ellis received a BA in Theater Arts from Hunter College in New York City (‘90) and an MFA in Design from New York University (‘93). He is a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829.
